30-11-2019. Blues 3-2-1 Whites 2-2-1
Alan Elenson is back to try his luck catching a grander blue on 80 stand-up. Fishing with Alan are old-time friends Floyd Van Hame and TJ and his brother Chris Beinert. First day out we fished as per normal so Floyd could catch his big blue, mid-morning bite Floyd was hooked up after a 40 min fight he released a 425lbs blue not bad for an old fart 73 and still pulling them in, way to go, mate. After releasing Floyd’s fish as we were putting the gear back in the water Chris hooked up to a white and released it quickly. TJ got lucky catching 2 Barracudas. ASDIP.

Alan Elenson está de volta para tentar a sorte com o “grander” de um azul na carretilha oitenta em pé. Pescando com Alan estão amigos de longa data Floyd Van Hame , TH e seu irmão Chris Beinert. No nosso primeiro dia lá fora com eles nós pescamos como geralmente fazemos para que Floyd pudesse pegar um azul grande, com o ataque de meio da manhã Floyd fisgou e depois de 40 minutos de luta liberou um azul de 425lbs, nada mal para um tiozão de 73 anos puxando os peixes por aí, mandou ver rapaz. Depois de liberar o peixe de Floyd estávamos colocando o equipamento de volta a água fisgamos um branco e liberamos bem rapidinho. TJ deu sorte pegando duas barracudas. ASDIP

The boys fishing stand up today and a slow start and bouncy ride. TJ got the 12 o’clock bite on the Slant and he had his work cut out, after the fish took us through a surface long line 2 times, and one hour and a half later he had the big blue to the boat estimated at 950 lb, great work TJ. On the way home, we found a slick with a mako eating a swordfish. The biggest Mako I have seen got a bite for Alan but didn’t stay hooked. ADIP.

Os rapazes pescaram de pé hoje tivemos um começo devagar e um passeio balançante. TJ pegou o ataque do meio dia na Slant, mas seu trabalho foi interrompido depois que o peixe nos fez passar por um espinhelduas vezes e uma hora e meia depois ele trouxe um azul grande para o barco estimado em 950lbs, bom trabalho TJ. No caminho de casa achamos um— com um mako comendo um swordfish. O maior Mako que eu vi deu uma mordida para Alan, mas não fisgou.

Fresh to frightening today but Alan was up and with the weather against us we could not get the hooks in. Alan did catch a couple of wahoos, great sashimi, and yummy for tonight’s dinner. Will sleep well tonight J

Fomos de tranquilo para desafiador hoje, mas Alan estava com tudo e o tempo estava contra nós, não conseguimos fisgar nenhum bicudo. Alan pegou algumas cavalas para um ótimo sashimi e um jantar delicioso hoje. Vamos dormir bem.

The weather came good Last day for the boys, Alan was up and hooked into a nice blue, great run but no jumps after 17 minutes he had the girl to the boat released at 550 lb, well done mate 71 and still standing) Not long after Chris hooked a sail and a quick healthy release. Madeira lures were on top today thanks Alexandre, ASDIP.

O tempo ficou bom último dia para os rapazes. Alan estava de pé e fisgou um ótimo azul, uma corrida massa, sem pulos, depois de 17 minutos ele trouxe a garotona para o barco e a liberou estimamos que com 550lbs, bem feito rapaz, com 71 e ainda firme em pé. Não muito depois de Chris fisgou um ótimo sail e liberamos ele saudável e bem rapidinho.
