The Royal Charlotte Bank has proven year after year to be a world-class blue marlin fishery.

17 Miles from the tranquil town of Canavieiras in the state of Bahia, Brazil, the bank runs 55 miles to the East with a southerly current hitting the northern edge, providing the nutrient-rich waters to feed the bait fish. This, in turn, attracts the pelagic species: large wahoo, dorado, amberjack, yellowfin tuna, white marlin, and sailfish.

Fishing here aboard the Camargue would fulfill the fishing fantasies of most anglers. With 80% of the blue marlin between 200 and 600 lbs and the rest over 600 lb the fish here are larger than most other fishing grounds. Moderate to calm seas make a great combination for some memorable fishing.

Renovated recently, Casa La Ma has accommodated fisherman from all over the world for the last  20 years, here to catch the large Majestic Blue Marlin.

The house is close to the best restaurants in town and the fishing boats, so you can get a little more sleep before the big days of fishing.
